Information: Camron Sawczyn – Memphis, Tennessee – CamronSawczyn@CSTCoach.com
Camron can’t remember the time in her life before music and movement. A dancer since age 3, she began her competitive career at 15, and that's also when she started teaching the art of dance to young children. The following year she won top honors at her dance studio and was named Miss Dance 1994. Camron continued dancing competitively until University. She managed to squeeze in dance classes while studying Business and graduating with honors from Florida State University, then heading straight to the prestigious Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College to earn her MBA.
In 2001 Camron began working for a major automotive manufacturer, and currently manages the Mid-South Marketing Department. Still devoted to dance, in 2003 she decided to challenge herself by trying a form that was completely foreign to anything she had done in the past: ballroom dancing. She went on to compete that same year, with less than six months of training. Between her first and second competition she amassed numerous awards, and placed either first, second or third in every dance she entered.
As if that wasn't enough, Camron sought new fields of movement to master, and she began Brazilian Jujitsu training early in 2005. That same year she was introduced to CST by Faculty Head Coach Joseph Wilson, which led her to train in Modern Kenpo and Prasara Yoga. After quickly becoming enamored with the Prasara yoga, Camron became the first female certified Prasara Instructor. She immersed herself in the other wings of CST and progressed from CST Instructor to CST Coach. She is currently the only female CST Coach in the RMAX Cadre, and she continues to teach, coach and study under the direction of Faculty Head Coach Joseph Wilson. You can usually find her on the mats at Memphis Martial Arts Center, educating someone on the refinements of the side crow.
